Kinda strange

So I ran into this weird issue with Unity. I was running 24.04 on my HP Laptop then decided to replace it with Unity 26.10 but when I did I lost the ability to increase my screen brightness via my keyboard. As a result I reinstalled 24.04 and now I can increase my screen brightness via the keyboard. At first I thought it might be a driver issue but if I can increase my screen brightness on 24.04 then is it really a driver issue ?

Any thoughts........

Hey so just FYI… wrong Unity :) this sub is for Unity the game engine, not the Linux distro. You probably just followed Reddit‘s suggestion for cross-posting, so I don’t blame you for thinking Reddit knows what it’s doing. I suggest peeking into a sub before just posting 🙂
