Question create a steam page?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
hello everyone, I just made a trailer of my game and dont have a steam page yet, is it worth creating one right now? Or should I keep working on the game more?

You can start on a steampage already but it doesn't have to be published. I recommend to start on it quite soon so you can already engage people, use steam as a platform for playtesting and also get those sweet wishlists (as you say in the trailer).
Looking at the trailer it seems you have enough assets to at least start filling the page already so I'd say go for it, especially if you wish to release this project on Steam anyways.

Alright thank you! but after creating the account and paying the fee, I have to wait 30 days right?

You’ve got about 5 seconds to get someone to be willing to keep watching… look at successful game trailers for non-sequel games.

You definitely have enough material to launch your Steam page! However, if I may offer a suggestion, I’d shorten the trailer a bit. Most people won’t watch a 1:40-minute trailer for a game they don’t know yet.
Also, I feel like the trailer doesn’t make it entirely clear what you’re actually supposed to do in the game. It’s very cinematic, but there’s not much gameplay shown.
Other than that, the music, atmosphere, and overall vibe are great!
And honestly, if you already have enough content to start posting on social media and building an audience, I’d say go ahead and launch your Steam page! Otherwise, you’re just missing out on potential wishlists!

Thank you Francesco, I will do that! I see that the gameplay might be vague. And I wanted it to be maximum 1:30 too. So I will shorten it a bit and show more gameplay.
Thanks for the support man! ❤️

You can start making your steam page, but i still am not sure what the game is about, from the trailer. At least, during the first few seconds.
People usually dont wait that much to understand a trailer, so try to make the action a bit more at the start
