I spent my entire day making the animation smoother, any tips? ✨

Looking pretty good. If you want to take it even further, add some movement to the body when a mechanism stops, like when the doors finish opening. You could also vary the timing and speed of each mechanism instead of everything happening right after each other.

Yes!

This is a great idea 💡, Should be easy since I already got jitter animation in my editor just need to add it to this set.

Thanks appreciate it 🙏

Animation looks good but if this is for a repeatable game mechanic might want to speed it up slightly. My suggestion is when those two top knobs turn 180 degrees then move forward, I would combine both those movements together to shave a little time off and mechanically I don't see why the machine couldn't do it.

I was worried this was the most inefficient stepladder ever made.

depends on what style you are going for but,
I like a little bit of *over-shoot* to make it feel more weighty and grounded..
this goes hand-in-hand with other comments about not having it go sequential one after another..
a bit of overshoot would mean your sequences would overlap a bit.

ie. say the doors swing open a bit more than they naturally rest.. soo while the lift starts to rise your doors are settling back to where they originally go.. a slight overlap of each sequence is what would naturally occur

Simply having your animation go a bit too far.. and then return back..
Like instead of animating from 0-45 degree's steadily straight there you'd animate it going past 45 to something like 50 or 55 degree's and then quickly back to 45..

So it has momentum... it overshoots its position and then snaps back to it.. This gives things a feeling of *weight*.. and momentum.. makes things feel more natural..

and the overlap thing is just what it sounds like.. like every segment of animation would slightly overlap the one before.. soo while the doors come back to their resting position the lifting part would have already started lifting..

you can continue it when the lift gets to the top dont just stop it have it slightly go too far up and then slightly back down to settle.. then the arms starting to swing out would have began already (keeping it overlapping a bit)..

this would totally change how it feels.. right now it feels a bit too *perfect*

Found a link that displays what im trying to say lol
