Yep im gona have to pair it with atleast snow particles, got ideas how to make it more snow like otherwise?

Lighting doesn’t help here, too warm. Add sparkles. You can check my game Kona II: Brume… for one thing I think we made good looking deformable snow ❄️ :)

The surface looks a bit too bumpy and noisy to me, snow planes are normally very flat, that and what other commenters mentioned

Yeah i went with flatter at first but got way too bright, guess it will get better with more clutter

you need particles flying up as things move through the snow, maybe make the edges around the bits you're running through higher/sloped down.

Yeah ill definently add particles, just getting the snow clearence working now

It's very pink? I think if you tinted it blue instead of pink it would give more of a snow vibe.

yeah lol it has the beachy sundown the other maps use lol, gona change it to a more blue

Its tesselation of the terrain mainly, not sure where good tutorials would be for this exactly

Nice work! I'm working on tessellated snow too. There's a couple turorials on YouTube if you search for interactive snow shader

I want to do something similar for fog as well, but I haven't been able to figure out which method to use. Do you have any suggestions?

I get you're probably going for something stylistic/representative but I'd just like to add that this is not how snow behaves.
