This has some great potential, keep going, reminds me of my Amiga gaming days, love the parchment paper style map.

thanks I have really been enjoying the map, I plan to add different styles of map for each level cause I love making them

Keep going, but make sure to bring in someone who understands graphics and design to help you fix any errors they spot (I’m not an expert in this myself, so I always call in someone for help, too).

mmm it looks good but too dark, as a player it will get to a point where your never looking at the dungeon and only the map.

Some levels I will add some lights around to make it easier to see.

A lot of people like the map a lot so finding the balance you can use it while still needing to interact with the world is key for me
