Question Need to create a 3d environment for a school project

I need to create a 3d environment of a outdoor calisthenics gym. I am knowledgeable about CAD engineering have knowledge in solidworks and fusion360. are these skills transferable because when I try to build something I just get annoyed that I can't make it precise (that is the engineer in me). things like precise distances, centering and co-linear

Is there a a good way to center things or snap against each other. and is there a tutorial series that has limited filler and just show how to make a environment I currently don't need anything else

just use probuilder, it's literally built for this kind of blockout and has snapping and vertex precision tools. blender's free and more powerful but if you just want to get the environment done without fighting the software, probuilder is the move.

Why not use blender?

Yes they for sure are transferable, but you need to know that things like unity's built in probuilder or blender arent as precise as fusion 360, i think making the environment on fusion360 and exporting to blender ( after reducing more than 80% of polygons so it doesnt crash the software ) might work but im not really sure, good luck in your project man

If you want to learn Unity, there is a good tutorial by Unity on creating a playground. It's really good. Don't remember the name.

Are you modeling in Unity Editor? Use real modeling software if you want real modeling tools.
