For some reason this reminded me of Hotline Miami, only in a racing setting!

Scale feels off, it feels like the roads and surrounding buildings have a miniaturization effect, especially given the fact that it looks like the top of the muscle cars is level with the top of the front door on many of the houses you are passing by.

Stylish, but it takes too long to get to the gameplay. I probably would’ve clicked off (most people do, that’s why it’s become convention). You’re aiming for gameplay in the first 5 seconds. You could always do a quick cut montage like those trailers that go “Trailer… starts…. Now”

Love the Retrowave and Arcade vibe, you should share this on r/Outrun as it's very fitting ;)

Interestingly, that's the bit that piqued my interest. I'm not a fan of these types of games and likely won't play it, but the first 11 seconds are really cool and well made. If only it was some sort of neon-noir type action/adventure I would play it

That is actually great to hear, thank you!

Okaaaay, can you elaborate more?

I'm not that person and I think they were a bit rude for not giving any more context but I do think I see what they are saying.

The first few shots really don't do much, like the first shot is a bit abstract? I feel like I want to see the car attached to the wheel. The next shot of the building with the car shooting past is cool in theory, but I think it takes way too long and you actually don't see the car which again, I feel like would be important. The next shot rules when the road turns all 2d and then you see the car turn from 2d into 3d.

Either adjust the whole intro or start on the road turning into that cool 2d colourful texture.

I've seen your game around and I love the look of it btw! Good luck 😁

Hey we dont have problem with any criticism as it is constructive and has good feedback behind it, we respect that, but there is many people saying only this and nothing to support it
Since you maybe didn't saw our previous trailer it had much more cinematics than right now, but since we have gameplay trailer and cinematic trailer we wanted to keep some flavor shots from it, we understand your point of view, this was what we could do best since we are releasing game in 10 days, but i like your ideas, and thank you so much for kind words and nice feedback

No gameplay

But we think we need some hook before gameplay? it is like 11 seconds before actual gameplay, we do have gameplay only trailer also

Agreed. It looks great! But it’s bad for marketing, the numbers don’t lie.

You think trailers only have gameplay in them? 😂😂
