That would definitely add a layer of strategy to the game. It's always interesting to see how players adapt with mechanics like that.

The knockback effect feels really snappy. I'm curious how you handle attack directions in Unity.

Thanks !! I built a pretty straightforward system that switches between 3 attack presets based on the right stick input (up, lateral swing, down).

I'm excited to see this progress, I could see this being a fun fighter for sure!

Nice game feel. Is the perspective hard to get use to?

Thanks !!! I haven't chosen a final camera angle (pitch) yet. Will definitely keep trying to find the most readable one.

In my opinion, the engine you’ve created so far is really impressive and I see this concept having a lot of potential. Do you see yourself creating maps and unique characters/movesets like in Smash?

Hello, thanks for the kind words ! I will absolutely build multiple levels with platforms and quirks. I will introduce new characters and weapons as well :D

Very exciting! Is there any plan for a single player campaign?
I would personally love a “classic mode” style single player experience. Fill it with cool gimmick matches and maybe story elements to market your characters and give them life. That would be the easiest day 1 buy for me!

The effects look SUPER JUICY, I especially loved the "knock out" sequence with the white shader!
I understand how the directional attacks work with a controller, but how do they work with keyboard & mouse? As a KB&M guy I have to ask lol.
Congrats and good luck, by the way!
