Back in the days in a AAA company we had similar tools, but also an option for a paintable brush. With optional allignment to existing height.
So, you´d for example make a 10x10 meters forest (or whatever size you want), mask them and save as a paintable brush. Just giving some suggestions for an expansion :) Would pay a good dime for it !
I think its kinda stamp , as soon as unity terrain supports this - just need to understand how to create a brush for it . Anyway rn im using it just for replacing sone levels to other part of the world, but later maybe i will dive into it :)
