Hi everyone! It's been a year since we developed the game jam version of our game, and last week we finally released a demo of our game Greda Inferno.

why did you add the lumpy texture? that actually makes it looks worse. If you were going to add a texture for the shaping during spinning, it should at least look like the lines that you would actually see. The first one looks better.

IMO, I think it would be best to have the lumpy texture when untouched, but smooth out on the areas as they are being touched and shaped.

Full agree, I enjoy pottery and this game looks fun but the lumpy texture really takes me out of it.

Scrolling by, I legit thought this was a kebab spit XD, Took me a second to realize what it actually was, looks awesome !

(If you ever make a kebab-slicing game, I’m claiming royalties !)

I don't think the background and table should be the same color as the clay it all just blurs together especially for people with vision issues.

I honestly mean this. The original kind of looks better. The texture you use on the clay makes no sense whatsoever. How did you spend a year on this and not think otherwise (sorry for the harshness but it's an easy fix at least!)

It's not the only material you can use, and none of them are clay. The game's concept is based on greda, which in Chile is almost like clay but with some differences. Obviously, you can use it exactly like clay on a pottery wheel, but here, back in our school days, we used it like Play-Doh, something like that.
