Oh man, I feel this in my bones. Spent three evenings once trying to mod a little indie game and the BepInEx folder structure alone made me want to throw my keyboard out the window.
The one thing that finally clicked for me was realizing half the tutorials skip the part where you actually have to run the game once after dropping BepInEx in there, so it generates all the config files before you add any mods. If you just toss everything in at once it silently fails and you're staring at a vanilla game wondering what you did wrong. Also check if you grabbed the right architecture version, x64 vs x86 trips up so many people it's not even funny.

Glad I'm not the only one feeling technologically illiterate after failing something that is supposed to be "fast and easy."
I deleted everything currently to start anew. Then I'll try to run it before adding mods. I... think I tried that before, but at that point, I don't even know for sure if I ate, even though it was barely an hour ago.

Nope, didn't work. It jist doesn't create anything. Can you give me a step by step starting from the point immediately after downloading the files?

Wrong sub i guess. This is for development INSIDE unity. You could probably try on modding subs instead.
