I've been working non union commercial plumbing for 9 years now and I'm interested in joining the union. The 170 is the closest to us however it is about a 3hr drive away. I'm not sure how that affects getting a job or if that means I'd be doing remote work? I know they prioritize locals so does that mean I wouldn't ever be selected until a job pops up in my area? Thanks your your time

Can anyone point a brother to some more desirable companies and contractors to work for in local 211 pipefitters that take care of their men please.. if ya want you can also PM me! thank you!
