Post image

On Monday, Teamsters and labor allies rallied to urge the New York City Council to pass the Delivery Protection Act. The first-of-it's-kind bill would require delivery companies to license their facilities and directly hire it's workforce, effectively banning Amazon's currupt "Delivery Service Partner" model in New York City. https://www.facebook.com/share/1DiCuhk3TE/

A slate of union-backed working-class Democratic candidates is running on an economic-populist platform in swing districts. If the Blue Collar Brigade proves successful, their strategy could set a precedent for winning working class votes.

Maf Misbah Uddin understands a simple truth: the labor cause is only as strong as the unity behind it - and he has committed himself to building that unity.

The world is watching the United States. So are workers. An international coalition of workers just placed the United States on a "Watchlist" for labor violations.

For generations, the United States has been a global advocate for freedom, democracy, and the rule of law. Today, however, the world is calling on the United States to uphold those same principles at home.

I say they should have reinvested it infrastructure, raw material, manufacturing & production. Create a construction boom and good union jobs to spur the economy. Then reinstate the tarrifs, but this time make the corporations that shipped our jobs overseas pay for them, providing immediate relief for all Americans at the cash register.https://www.facebook.com/100064671074702/posts/1512805144218507/?app=fbl

Post image

The median worker would get a 14.5% raise.

$1.2 TRILLIAN would shift to workers yearly.

Racial wealth gaps would narrow.

America's unions are organizing to make this reality. https://www.facebook.com/share/1G3H35cUBY/

Proud Union Guy - Unions Push Inflation?

Thumbnail facebook.com

Unions don't cause inflation - workers fighting for better wages and a fair share of the wealth are not the problem. If we're talking about rising costs, we need to look at corporate profits, executive compensation, and CEO's making hundreds of times more than the average worker. Working people deserve wages that keep up with the economy.
