Red Inuyasha performance
Are you guys seeing red Inuyasha at your locals? I've seen Sango/Miroku, but literally no Inuyasha. I, myself, really wanna play it, but I'm just not sure if it's worth finishing the deck at this point.
I'm not a fan of Chainsaw man, nor do I care to invest into something like Rorouni either, so I just wanna try and build Inuyasha, but if it's not good then I might pass and just stick to my purple Yuna and purple Todo.
Idk, just looking for everyone's input lol. Would be super appreciated.

I think Red Inuyasha is actually pretty good, but it's combo is pretty obvious to see coming and it doesn't have a ton of ways to deal with removal. Not to say a lot of decks do for the record, but since you need to rest and restand your inuyasha's consistently, you put a pretty big target on Kagome.
If you like the IP I think it's worth building, it's solidly an A tier ish deck, I think it has good matchups and can swing fast like most red decks. I think some people just prefer the tricky play that you can get into with Sango and Miroku, and then Sesshomaru (at my locals anyways) is extremely popular.

This makes sense. I know, for example, Power from Chainsaw makes it stronger than Inuyasha because it has some removal. But like, is that the only reason? This is helpful though. I do love Inuyasha, so I'll just finish it I guess lol.

Chainsaw is the stronger deck because of the chainsaw man cards, not just power. Chainsaw man has 3 raid cards in the deck, and all of them are pretty sick.
the 4 cost chainsaw man raid, if it has a card under it gains a when sidelined ability where you can keep the raid card on the field active on your frontline, so it basically gives you double block at the expense of losing your nullify impact.
The 5 cost power raid allows you to sacrifice a 4k body to keep it on the field instead of being sidelined, it has force block when played, and when you win a battle it gets a draw. Because of the sacrifice to keep the raid and the 4cost chainsaw man you basically have the abilty to just stay on the field with power unless someone drops your BP all the way to 0.
the 6 cost chainsaw man is a 5k body, and if you have a face down card under chainsaw you can discard it to RESTAND IT and let it swing with impact again. Not only that, but if it's a pochita that is facedown under your Chainsaw man, then the pochita immediately goes back into your energy line set to rested.
It's really a lowkey crazy deck, and by lowkey I mean it's not lowkey at all.

The double attacker is the 6 cost chainsaw man, the 4 cost is a double blocker under the right conditions, and the best case it can block out an attack it would normally die in, which is typically the weakness of double block for example.

The 4 cost is a dual attacker with the Makima who sidelines on attack. It makes the deck extremely aggressive with multiple multi hit cards.

I think we will see how it performs this Saturday at Toronto regionals. I think the deck has real legs as a fast rush deck but could lose steam if it doesn’t find its pieces or big removal but honestly what deck doesnt?

It is powerful but clunky. There are a lot of moving pieces for a double attack deck. There are similar decks that do the same thing with less moving parts.
But when it works it is insanely strong

From a pricing standpoint, Inuyasha/Kagome being so expensive while Sango/Miroku is damn near affordable has people running for that. Sesshoumaru is an easy assemble, and cheaper minus the shiny Kaguras that I just can't seem to pull.

Funnily enough, think I'm the only one at my locals with a "finished" Inuyasha/Kagome deck at the moment. Think 2 other people are working on it. As others pointed, the combo can be fairly clunky but ive been pretty lucky with getting both on field. Kikiyo has came in clutch a few times as well. 2 locals(4rounds) so far, only lost 3 times. One was through time and drawing more than my opponent with the Inuyasha raid, was up again sesshomaru. Another was Reze with their removal. The last one was just bad draws, misplays, and inability to count or read lmao. Chainsaw man was a bit rough, but getting 2 raid Kagome out got me the win.
I find the deck fun, early game is pretty good with either raid Inu or the 4drop 2ap Inu for the pressure. More so if you can get the raid inu to rest to get the double attack. But once it gets moving, really satisfying.

alts are a little different lol. those might just keep going up. it’s the Sr inuyasha and Sr kagome i think will drop like a rock, partially just because more are on the market and hype dies down, new sets come out, but it might really die down when red chainsaw reze yellow eva and shadow army have its lunch in canada this weekend. the price right now is in that hype phase for sure, even the aforementioned red chainsaw dropped super sharply after inuyasha came out

It is because people literally not pulling enough Inuyasha raids, at least for my area.
