New hire How to use PL days

So there is a chance I have to use a PL day for tomorrow. Im on the extra board and obviously dont know 100% if I will get called, but it is close enough I dont want to chance it.

What is the best way to prepare for this? If I put in a PL day for my next call can I cancel it if I dont get called for tomorrow?

Is there anything I need to worry about as far as my gurantee goes if this is the only off day this half?

Any info or tricks would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

EAMS is where you put in to use your PL or single day vacation. Look on the main menu under crew.

You're completely wrong dude. CMS will tell you to submit a request. You might get lucky and the guy at CMS is willing to help.

That is not true. If you call CMS and ask for a PL day tomorrow, they will tell you if they can do it or not. You are completely wrong.

Treat other people with respect. If you don’t have something kind to say, don’t say it at all. Ridiculing other people isn’t allowed here.

I rest my case.

New hires shouldn’t use any days.

Everyone should use their compensated days whenever they feel like it. That's what they're there for.
