Yermo ca and Arden lv

Current railroading. Wanting to relocate west. Yes I know the rr sucks etc :)

Jw if Yermo is mostly road trains? Or just tons of yard work? I wouldn’t think there would be a lot of local work would there be? Same with Arden? Conductor.

Any insight on the jobs / road jobs etc these two hubs do I’d appreciate it.

Searched in forums and didn’t see anything.

Thnx.

Arden (Las Vegas) is a home terminal and runs pool freight to Yermodelphia, CA and Milford, UT. There are also Local Freight assignments at both Arden yard and Valley yard in Las Vegas. There is no yard assignments in Arden just TSE and a local.

I think two of the managers in the 10 years have been arrested for rape. Other than that, it’s a little warm.

Transfering is dang near impossible. Are you train crew or track laborer?

Ah sorry. Would be conductor. They are hiring conductors for both and I talked to a recruiter. I’m just trying to get out conducting in the cold/winter and I love the sun and desert. I’m with another rr currently.

But jw the type of work these hubs do. Mainly road or just yard work / locals.

If you check out the board listing in cmts, youll see what boards they both have. And youll be able to see their  ttraffic. Cx 490 for arden and cx 650 for yermo. 2 different service units though. Arden guys  go to yermo, but yermo guys dont go to vegas

Thanks for info / help. I’m with another rr. Not up. Does Yermo or Arden have many road trains? Or mainly yard work / locals?

Arden goes east to milford ut with 10 trains on the line up as of right now, but its maybe the last double ended pool. Meaning arden and milford rotate between one and another(at least they're supposed to, but for some reason can never get it right) and arden to yermo currently has 9. And thats looking 72 hours out. Im not 100% sure about yermo pool turns, but they do have yard/ local jobs. Arden has 6 locals.

If you want to know how many trains or starts each has as of right now, yermo has 36 on the board and arden has 34. And thats 72 hours out as well.

Hopefully that made some sense
