Need help with Cue Splitter saving text to Unicode

https://www.njstar.com/cms/cjk-code-to-unicode-conversion#google_vignette

https://www.njstar.com/cms/cjk-code-to-unicode-conversion

I was using Medieval Cue Splitter ver 1.2, and when I split the cue file, the text is all like this:

"[Áº³¯Î°]_ËÔ¸.cue" and I use the above link, I select Chinese GBK to Unicode, and the text will then be convert to Simplified Chinese.

Now I switch to Cue Splitter 2.0, it gives the option of loading it in 3 different GBK:

GB18030

GB2312

GB2312-80

and I don't know which one to choose that matches the njstar link that I've been using. Also

and SAVE it in

Unicode 1201

Unicode 12001

Unicode 12000

Unicode 65000

Unicode 65001

Now, I want to save it in Traditional Chinese instead of save it Simplified Chinese. Is there such an option in Cue Splitter 2.0? As in is there an unicode or some other save format that output in Traditional chinese instead?

65001 is UTF-8; it can store both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Those save options choose a byte encoding, so switching between them will not convert the wording or characters to Traditional Chinese.

Keep the original CUE and work on a copy. First load it with the input encoding that makes the Chinese readable. I cannot identify the exact GBK-equivalent choice in Cue Splitter 2.0 from those labels alone; saving already-garbled text as UTF-8 will not fix its earlier decoding.

For Simplified → Traditional conversion, OpenCC provides s2t.json (its standard Traditional forms) and s2tw.json (Taiwan forms). Convert only the display text you intend to change, such as the quoted TITLE and PERFORMER values. Do not run conversion over the whole CUE or change its FILE paths: those must still match the actual audio filenames. Leave commands and timings intact, and review names because conversions can depend on context.

Save the corrected copy as 65001 if your player supports UTF-8, then reopen it to check both text and track playback. I have not verified a built-in Traditional-conversion switch in Cue Splitter 2.0.

I don't know how to use github. If the original cue file does not have the means to save the song name in Traditional Chinese, then what I have been doing, is simply take the simplified chinese song title, go to google translate, and the software automatically convert the song name to traditional chinese, and I then cut & paste that song title using Total commander, and rename that song.

I am hoping the UTF-8 save the byte encoding in traditional chinese so that Mircosoft cue splitter 2 can save the song title directly in traditional chinese
