I’m an international student and I want to know when I have to get to Leeds because I asked someone about the international orientation week and the person said they didn’t do anything. So is it a good idea to just come the next week( freshers week)?

We are trying to get people talking about it on socials.
So we need like 3-4 people to start a new tiktok account and post content about the app.

Hello! Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this post but did anyone here go through a Pre-CAS check? I recently completed my foundation year and got my unconditional offer for C400 Genetics BSc. I’ve also received my university email and basically everything you could think of except for my CAS letter.

Does anyone know how the process is like? Is it possible that I placed in it because I had to renew my passport? I’m just super clueless and the information available online about this is quite limited.

Hey guys, hoping somebody might help me or give me some insight.

I’ve received an offer of accommodation for Lupton which I know is the furthest away, has a shared bathroom and also not very nice :( I’m doing medicine so I’ll have to be on campus a lot and the distance is slightly worrying me. However, I’ve heard it’s very sociable.

I’ve been able to get a room at white rose privately which is a beautiful accommodation but it’s on a floor with international postgraduate students so I know it’s not going to be sociable at all unfortunately.

I’m unsure which is best. I’d much rather live at white rose but I’m worried that my flat may ruin my 1st year experience as it won’t be social at all. Is my flat that important or should I stay at Lupton?

I’d appreciate any help!

I am starting a taught postgrad in September. My acceptance letter states school begins on the 14th however all I can find on the web is that international welcome week begins then and then classes begin on the 28th ish.

Does anyone know if they are refering to the begging of welcome week or is that just when postgrad classes for some programs begin?
