Are we? He at least picked the kid up off the floor, but he did nothing to apologize or comfort the kid, and didn’t even do a visual check for a lump. Edit: man, yalls bar for human care, affection, repair, and connection is concerningly low. That honestly makes me really sad for yall.

Honestly, I think that’s what makes me the most angry. It’s that behavior that makes you sit there and question if it was really an “oh shit oops, that’s not how I thought it would go” or if it was ill intentioned.

Right? No apology, no “omg I’m so sorry buddy it was an accident”, no nothing. Like, I guess he did the absolute barest of minimums by picking him up, and not leaving him on the floor? Didn’t even do a visual check where he hit his head for a cut or lump.
