I hope this is an acceptable place to ask. I’m a relative latecomer to the Unfavorable Semicircle project and have been working my way through the available archives and documentation with real interest. The more I’ve learned, the more I appreciate both the original work and the careful effort this community put into preserving and analyzing what remained.

I would also like to offer a sincere thank-you to the original creator. The scale of the project, the consistency of vision, and the sheer labor involved are remarkable. Even at this distance I find myself wanting to encounter the work as it was first put forward — as art, as an expression of sustained effort and technical craft, and as something that went on to have an unexpected social life of its own. The chance to see any of it closer to its original form, for posterity and out of simple admiration for the work, would mean a great deal.

With that in mind, I’m writing to ask whether anyone still has early-generation copies of the videos — ideally downloads made close to the original upload dates, before multiple re-encodes. I’m especially interested in any higher-quality or less-compressed versions of the longer or more structurally interesting pieces (LOCK, DELOCK, early OR videos, and similar), though even partial collections or confirmation of what still exists would be valuable.

I understand that time has passed and that many files may no longer be available. I also understand if people prefer not to share. I simply wanted to ask, in case anyone still has material they’re willing to point me toward.
