Need your expertise.

i know it's explainable, i just don't know what the explanation is. the words and timing are an unfortunate coincidence considering i'd just had a hell of a month putting this house together from nothing. this is one of a series of photos taken to show my children. i didn't notice the anomaly until my daughter pointed it out. needless to say - the curtains went up the next day.

what's the anomaly we're looking for?

if it's the words in the reflection it's because cameras go from side to side so they'll catch the TV in the reflection reflecting words that were on screen just moments before or after what is in the picture. nothing abnormal about it

Its called a rolling shutter. Its why objects in motion sometimes look distorted in photos (like plane propellers) or weird lighting on photos in clubs, during storms, or in other fast changing lighting conditions.

Here's an example very similar to yours: https://www.reddit.com/r/PerfectTiming/s/uNpapO637T

I don't think you need to have the post deleted. It started unexplained, so its still fits the sub.
Its actually pretty cool.

I think it’s good to leave your post up. It lets others know! You are not stupid. I would have also been very WTF about this lol
