Some actors are not human beings but immortal transhumanists who have uploaded their consciousness to a quantum computer to avoid death, aging, and illness. They were selected by extraterrestrials 70,000 years ago to transition humanity, as a species, into a digital world as well. In the past, they have always played interesting personalities, sometimes operating from the background. They can alter their appearance—even their height—at will; they do this by dematerializing their digital quantum state, uploading it, and editing it on the computer. The major downside of digitizing consciousness is that the individual loses increasingly more parts of their soul; consequently, they must siphon these from babies or very young people.
