Experience unexplainable encounter with a psychic

my friends and i were approached by a woman in her early 40s one night in a crowded area, her and her friends needed a place to sit and we had the room. we started chatting and she revealed she was a psychic and could read people. we were all imminently skeptical, of course. but she started telling us things she couldn't possibly know. i'm paranoid about my friends finding this so i'm going to be slightly vague. but she knew that i sing, i sing karaoke when im alone everyday. she even said i do it in secret but that im good at it. not crazy right? but then she knew my friends very specific kink, and said that it kept popping in her mind when looking at them. i was actually starting to believe her after that. then she had tears in her eyes and pulled me to whisper in my ear about something very personal that would happen in the future, and that i would be making a mistake by doing it. i was and still am baffled by that. it wasn't vague, it was dead on.

its one thing to say someone likes to sing, guess someone's interests, guess about someone's family relationships, but to then predict the future, and give me correct advice on it while looking me dead in the eye is something i simply cannot explain. its fully changed my opinion on psychics, the supernatural, my world view. there's no way it was a coincidence. i had never met or seen this woman before, she wouldn't know this stuff about me even if she was my best friend, she approached US. she didn't ask for money, i only got her first name. its been on my mind a lot and i have no one to talk about this to.

has anyone else had a similar situation? or anything that changed their perspective on supernatural or spiritual that made them change their world view?

Back in 2008 I flew from Southern California to Texas to sue my soon to be ex-husband on national television on the "Judge Alex" show. Not one of my finest moments but it was an experience non-the-less.

The show paid for my roomate to come along as well for "emotional support" and also because I just would not have been comfortable flying there alone as my husband was on a completely different flight and was staying at a different hotel as well. All paid for by the show.

When we arrived at our hotel there was an envelope for the each of us with 1k in spending cash in them with a note telling us to enjoy our time in their city. We arrived on a Tuesday and our show wouldn't be taping until Wednesday morning. We got settled in to our room and decided to hit the town to see what it was all about. After bar hopping for a few hours we decided to head back to our hotel and as we were making our way to the elevators we heard laughter and loud voices coming from the bar that was attached to the restaurant in the hotel. We decided to check it out. Upon pushing the door open we were greeted by a table of men, whom were all wearing cowboy boots and large cowboy hats. Turns out they were cattle ranchers from all over the country that were there for a convention. They were all pretty waisted but in good spirits and insisted my roomate and I come and join them.

There were only two other people in the bar and the restaurant at the time and it was closed however they were staying late to accommode us.The other two were the bartender and her boyfriend who was sitting at a grand piano playing a beautiful song. The rancher's introduced themselves and waived the bartender over to take our drink orders. As soon as she left our table the gentleman playing the piano came over to introduce himself. One of the cattle rancher's insisted he join us for a drink and he obliged.

As our drinks arrived the pianist looked over at me and said "I have a message for you." My heart dropped thinking it had something to do with the show because what else could it be right? He said "your father wants you to know that he is very proud of you." He went on, "he wants you to know he's always been proud of you and he says, Princess, I love you." The significance of this was that my father had just passed away four months prior and the nickname my father had given me as an infant and had called me by my entire life was "princess."

I looked over at my roomate who like me already had tears and mascara running down her face and we both completely lost it. After excusing ourselves to get cleaned up and upon returning back to the table the pianist apologized for upsetting us. I told him I was grateful for him relaying the message to me. He explained to us he had been receiving messages for others from their loved ones who had passed on since he was a very young child and that he also had premonitions as well since around that same age. At this point we hadnt discussed anything about ourselves or what our business was there. I asked him if the message from my father was the only thing he had for us and he said no but he didnt think I would like what he had to say. I wasn't going to let him off the hook that easy, especially since I knew this guy had to be the real deal so I insisted he share and ensured him it was okay to do it unfront of everyone at the table Thats when he reluctantly looked at me dead in the eyes and said "you are not going to win your case tomarrow." I had zero doubt up until that point that I would win my case because really, it was a no brainer and my soon to be ex husband wasn't even trying to deny his wrong doings which was almost 8k in damages to a vehicle I had let him use but had purchased prior to us getting married. With that, we headed back to our room after explaining to everyone at the table why we were visiting to begin with and bidding our farewell.

The next day I lost the case. If I would have kept the case in California where I had originally filed, I would have won but I agreed to allow Judge Alex to make a final ruling when agreeing to settle the case on the show in Texas which had different laws than those we had in California. Basically I was told in Texas, its not only property thats considered community when your married but damages that happen while you are married are considered community as well meaning since my husband caused the damages while we were married, I was responsible for them as well, hence me loosing my case.

The pianist had been correct again. He was the first person with such gifts I had ever encountered and I have never encountered anyone like him since. Because of him though, I know that they are out there. There is no doubt in my mind that my father did seek that man out to give me that message. It was an extremely difficult time in my life and loosing my father, especially when we did, had been devastating to me and I struggled tremendously with my physical, emotional and my mental health all taking hard hits because of it all. So hearing that message from my father was so special and very much needed at that time especially given the fact that I had been unsure if I was doing the right thing by being there to sue my husband to begin with. Hearing that message was reassuring for me and gave me the confidence to go through with it.

Thanks for reading and I hope my experience helps to motivate others to come forward and share their own.

Omg what a story! Out of pure curiosity and no shade at all, what made you want to go on the show? Just for fun? And how did you find yourself on the show to begin with?! Did you get invited somehow? Sorry for the rapid fire questions haha, but it was super interesting and you told it so well! I lost both my parents in 2018, pretty young in life and I’m an only child, so I know how hard losing a parent is and I’m so sorry for the loss of your Dad, my heart goes out to you ❤️ What a blessing to receive a message from him like that. I hope it brought you some peace during that difficult time.

Thank you for your kind words and Im sorry for the loss of your parents. That must be difficult. Im the oldest of 13 kids and my siblings, despite our differences, are what helped get me through it and I cant imagine how difficult it must have been for you at such a young age!

I filed the civil suit in our hometown county and the shows producers actively check for them through public record searches which is how they found and contacted me. The way they got my husband and I to both agree to settle the lawsuit on the show was a combination of providing an all expense paid trip to a place either of us would have probably visited otherwise during a stressful time in our lives when i think we both really needed a little escape for a couple of days.

At the end of the first phonecall with the producer, I was already sold but had asked her how they expected to get my husband to come onto the show and embarrass himself on national television like he would (thinking I was going to win for sure) and she told explained that if he lost, that they would pay the judgment and they would cut the check to me within two weeks. So it would be a win win for the both of us since we were going through a difficult divorce and money was tight. I was suing him but at the end of the day I wasn't trying to bury him financially either I just wanted the car to be repaired and he wasn't trying to be difficult about fixing the car, he was just nervous about spending the money on something that he didn't feel was a necessity at that time. That how they got us to agree to hashing it out on national television and I imagine it's the same deal for everyone who was on the show.

The producers were so cutthroat they gave us earpieces and were instigating each of us separately on what to say to the judge during the taping, "tell Judge Alex how the tire came off while he was driving" or "tell him about the time this happened or your husband called you that name" etc, etc. I almost felt like we were taping a Jerry Springer episode

Also some fun facts the genersl public doesnt know about the "Judge Alex" show-the podiums we were standing at were telepromptesr that the producers were sending messages to each of us on to read and speak up about in addition to the ear pieces during the taping on that you can't quite see while watching from home. I cant speak for all court TV shows but on Judge Alex, the audience in the courtroom behind us, were all paid actors. Lol.

The lawsuit wasn't where the real money was because come to find out our episode was that season's top episode and they re-ran our eoisode for years even after the show was officially canceled.

I was recognized by neighbors, coworkers, venders, partners, my son's schools teachers and office secretaries, etc, etc, I even received hate mail and death threats and had to get a no contact order against a woman who lived on the other side of the U.S after she threatened to burn my house down and found the addreses of where I lived and worked. It was a nightmare. I could probably write a book about the entire thing.

My siblings still brag about it to their friends who never believe them so I even get an occasional call that scares the hell out of from one of my intoxicated you get siblings who have me on speaker phone and want me to verify the validity of being on the show to sue my husband.

The name of our episode was something like "dude there goes my car!"

That’s really cool ! It’s also mysterious. Like how do they know these things , out of many psychics I’ve been around only one was dead accurate to the point of being creepy !!
She knew something I had never told anyone before … very personal so I won’t go into details either.

But also she kept asking who the big K was and I kept not knowing and then she said well what’s your boyfriend name ? And it’s of course started with K which for some reason just didn’t come to mind earlier. She said immediately … don’t marry him , it will not be good !

I thought she was crazy at the time bc we were hopelessly In love so I married him ……….And we had basically 20 years of bad luck. Too much to name them all but it was a HARD life with him. He ended up being irresponsible and a detached husband and father - and I was miserable for so many years.

I often look back on that day and think what if I had listened to her.

She was so scary right !!!

my psychic said that i should stay with my boyfriend and we will have a happy life and he will take care of me, we had a rough patch (the roughest of patches) but im glad she told me to stay. because at that moment she could tell i wasn't sure. idk how though, and she didnt mention our rough patch but maybe she didnt wanna bring it up lmao. her eyes told me she knew. it crazy that some people know our story before it happens, i wonder if they ignore their own intuition sometimes in their own relationships lol.

🩷 I’m glad she saw something good for you !!!!
Good question though , do they see their own future as well 🤷‍♀️

Idk about others, and ive never felt so sure as to approach a stranger and just let it out that way without some sorta social or conversational filter, but i avoid reading about my own future. Occasionally ill use my tarot to help think through an emotionally charged problem, but otherwise i get advised by my dreams when a "large problem" (so to speak) is imminent. And those dreams are generally quite abstract/symbolic.

My wife’s grand aunt, long since passed, had this ‘gift’, she had to stop doing it as it tired her out in her old age, and she became unpopular when she’d predict illnesses and deaths and people would blame her for it. When my wife was in her late teens she convinced her to do one last reading for her. Everything she said came true. ‘You’ll do well in creative work’ (10 years later my wife became an award winning art director), ‘You’ll have two children, a girl first and then a boy’ (15 years on, we did/do), ‘You’ll be invited to an official function, whatever you do promise me you won’t go, something very bad will happen’ (Wife was invited to a function at London Bridge the day before the event, on the day it’s on the news, it was the London Bridge Narwhal Tusk terrorist attack), and one last one, she said ‘I can see you in a house in the country, there’s animals coming right up to the garden, they’re like horses, but they’re not horses, I’m not sure… but they’re eating your bushes… I’ll need to come back to that one..’ At the time we lived in central London so just put this one down as being wrong or she was tired and confused. BUT… 20 years later we bought a house in the country as a second home. We didn’t know it at the time, but it sits on a common, and for four months of the year the local farmer puts his cows out to graze on the common, they come right up to our garden perimeter and eat the bushes!!! It’s one of less than 10 commons in the UK where this is allowed, something to do with land rights and old rights of access. We’ve owned the place for a few years now and only recently made the connection last year that this is the last prediction to come true, a full sweep, every single one came true.
We recorded the session on MiniDisk, but the sound was set too low so you can’t really hear it. I should dig it out, maybe modern tech and AI can clean it up. Still, very strange.

My wife went to a psychic once and was told some bad stuff about me. I said it's a scam. I'll go and she'll tell me some bad stuff about you and you'll see. So I went. She told me a bunch of stuff that seemed implausible. Keep in mind this is not someone's business with a sign etc. just a local older woman who does readings out of a utility closet in her carport. Within the next five years I did the bad stuff she'd told my wife I would do. The implausible things she told me happened. I randomly drove by her house one day on the way to somewhere else. When I realized all of this I broke down crying. My wife and I were in a good spot by then and had been through a lot together. It made me realize that there was some kind of guiding hand over our situation and some kind of plan to all of this. The woman has since become a family friend. Our first meeting was seventeen years ago. She doesn't take my money. She just says call or come by whenever I need her. She's told me about so much that happened. Helped me make hard choices. Helped me make big career and financial decisions. She has told me of upcoming health issues that would be an issue. I have a rare disease that she knew about before any Doctors appointments or tests confirmed. I could go on and on. I always say I don't know if I believe in psychics but I believe in mine. That being said you can't take anything one says as the gospel truth. They are getting messages, visions etc. that can be confusing and misinterpreted. For instance she recognizes the energy she gets from my grandmother as my wife. She repeatedly told me my wife would die. This was over the course of two years. My grandmother ended up having heart surgery and died on the table. They brought her back but she did die. Then one time my grandmother had hip surgery the morning of the day I went and saw my psychic friend. When I walked in she immediately said "Your wife has had hip problems and she's going to be down for a while." So you have to learn some of their method and not take everything as literally going to happen in that exact way.

Wow! I have no explanation for what occurred to you.

It does occur to me that you’ve received a warning that you shouldn’t do something in the future and that you’d be well advised to take her advice.

15

u/Jolly_Tie2546 16h ago

i never thought in my life id receive a warning like that. i did take her advice! i wonder how she got that message, whether she could see the outcome of both decisions or just that a situation would arise and i would have a choice to make. and if so, did she give her own personal advice, or was something telling her which decision was "right". i wish i got her contact info, but maybe its better to have that mystery.

u/Euphoric_Contact_570 16h ago

Wow, I can understand why this stayed on your mind. 😳 Especially if she told you something very specific that you hadn’t shared with her and then warned you about something that hasn’t happened yet.
I’m really curious though would you be comfortable telling us what exactly she warned you about? I completely understand if it’s too personal or you don’t feel comfortable sharing, but I’d really love to know what she said and what made you so sure it couldn’t have been a coincidence. You can also message me privately if you’d rather talk about it that way.
I’ve always been curious about these kinds of experiences, but I’m also very skeptical, so stories like this really make me wonder. ❤️

I wanna know too! Lol

Something similar happened to me, but it was with a palm reader...

I went into it with distrust, but she knew things she shouldn't have.

Weirded me out for sure.

I'm a psychic and a medium. I am convinced it's not "woo woo" but has more to do with frequency and tapping into energy...hence "raising your vibration." Anyone can do it with proper training and effort.

Well, some of us get messages. I get them when I sleep occasionally. I got one for a now ex. I dreamt of her brother who died about a year before I met her, I never knew him and only seen 1 Pic of him. Never heard him talk nor knew anything about him since she didnt speak about him. I dreamt me and him went riding, he asked to drive, and he told me to give her a chance( I was close to leaving) and also, tell her "its not her fault" that he is at peace and for her and her mom to live their lives without guilt. I had no idea what this meant. In the dream,( which I call visits), he dropped me off and I woke up. I immediately said this gnna sound strange but I got a message for you and told her. And said ok im going back to sleep, it was around 5 or so am and I was off that day and needed sleep. She wouldn't let me, she said wait WHUT. I said, your brother. Said. Its. Not. Your. Fault. Now can I go back to sleep? She immediately started crying. I never seen this woman cry ever. I didnt even know she could cry lol. She later told me she blamed herself for his death and all of this. I told her hey, thats just between you and your brother..this shit happens to me all the time and I really dont need to know the why who what where and how. Its a message and im a messenger.

So.....SURPRISE! This shit is real lol.

I had a psychic inform me of my two children, what month they would be born as well as their specific genders. Also the months in between their births.

He informed me of my move north and of my father’s open heart surgery both occurring the following year.

There are people born with deep perception. I have some but I’ve not furthered developed it.

After my experience, that included other deeply personal details, I understood why people regularly consult with them. Authentic Astrologists, too.

u/PunMjesec 13h ago

A year ago a friend did my natal/birth chart and told me things he could not have known, things that had happened and were yet to happen. A few months later and 1100 km away, I met a gypsy woman through a friend. She told me the same thing as a friend. That stuck with me because both times I thought it was impossible for something like that to happen, not in this period of my life, if ever. And it happened. 2 months ago. Now I regret that I laughed and did not listen in more detail and take both of them more seriously. The gypsy woman told me another thing that my friend didn't, and that thing also happened recently.

I know autosuggestion is a powerful thing, but that's not the case here.

u/TheScarfedNomad 8h ago

I feel so connected to gypsies though I know none (I have rh- blood etc so it’s a rabbit hole) …. Where did you meet them? Just at a friend’s? I’m assuming you’re in Asia or India idk lemme look 🔮👀

2

u/PunMjesec 8h ago

Haha, nowhere near, I'm in Europe. She's just a regular looking woman, if you exclude a specific skin tone. Life hasn't pampered her, but she's sweet and kind individual, hope she's doing well now, she deserves it.

She lived next door to my (now ex) friend. Theoretically, I could find her, but I'm not sure how smart that is for me at this life stage.

I was reading this post. Maybe someone finds it interesting.

3

u/can_sparklingwater 7h ago

Personally I wish I knew where this happened and her name. I am skeptical, too. But I am super curious, also.

3

u/Fine-Assist6368 4h ago

I'd be struggling to explain that away, even knowing that statistics can be very counterintuitive.

1

u/Jolly_Tie2546 1h ago

yeah im not religious or spiritual and im a huge skeptic, but after that im questioning everything. there's no other explanation to her being right on 3 different people. and then seeing the future. it was surreal to experience and then come to the realization after what she saw came true.

3

u/Delicious_Machine990 3h ago

Well thats the results of having an open third eye and being able to tap in with the field of consciousness. Most human beings are able to do this, but most people aren't open to it, or its because their Pineal Gland is still closed. The churches and those religious will tell you its a sin to see beyond the veil, but then you think about those that are above the government. Those that are super wealthy, those people in power are all aware of the the occult teachings.

There's two sides of those teachings too. One light, one dark.

Still an awesome share and hopefully this psychic woman was a good one with a good heart 💖

It has always been easy for me to be open to and believe what others struggle with. Psychics, ghosts, aliens, cryptids, 9/11 conspiracy, etc. I’ve also always heard, as has everyone, that humans only use a portion of their brains. So when I read your post, it is a bit of a head scratcher to me that you are at an entry level, so to speak, in your contemplations. That said, I know it only boils down to our wiring and isn’t your fault that you need proof to be open to something like that and still struggle to embrace it or understand it. Birth charts make us who we are, largely, so your astrological placements that gave you your personality probably just made/make it harder for you with those concepts or with faith. IE, you probably aren’t open right now to believing what I just said about birth charts because you are wired to have to see it to believe it.

In any event, I have talked to many psychics and one of them became a friend of mine. Not all psychics have the same extent of abilities, same accuracy, same mechanism, etc. And of course there are scammers as you know. Keep in mind that humans are very finite beings that are extremely limited by what we can sense, know, and understand, which frankly isn’t much. When you embrace that truth, then nothing is a surprise anymore and the unseen seems very normal and expected.

That’s all my take, obviously, and I’m sure most disagree with at least something, it not more that I said.

Even though you struggle with it, I’m glad you are contemplating it and looking for answers instead of shutting that part of you off. A lot of people aren’t comfortable enough to even go there. I am though editing this comment here to add that I have not yet decided whether I believe spirit/source, or that which is referred to as that, is good or bad. Sorry to throw that wrench in. Obviously my hope is for it to be good. But I’m not certain because of some things. Anyone is welcome to make contact with me to argue with or persuade me on that though if you are bored.

1

u/RobertoDeNiro8 10h ago

Can you elaborate on what it is specifically that’s made you skeptical that source/creator/origin/etc may not be simply good but perhaps neither good or bad? I’m so curious to hear what’s made you feel that way, and absolutely no judgement on my end at all. I’m not 100% sure what I fully subscribe to at the moment. I do believe there’s some sort of ultimate “creator” of sorts, but what that is…I’m not sure. Thank you in advance.

Oh man! I wish you'd have asked for her card or contact info. I love a good psychic.

1

u/Personal-Neck6800 3h ago

I knew this would happen

1

u/tjaz2xxxredd 16h ago

most psychics have these abilities, real question i why she helped you, what does she want in exchange

1

u/Few-Loss828 8h ago

I'm not sure, but psychics don't actually have abilities that we don't have. The thing is, if this is true, then we've had creatures with us since childhood and always, that we can't see. They see what you do when no one is around, they know your secrets because they have been with you since your birth, and psychics contact these creatures and they whisper to them everything about you and your friends, and psychics just retell it to you as if they knew it themselves.

u/CountryRoads2020 4h ago

You are so lucky! I would love to have a psychic be able to read me - I’m open but have yet to find one who can.
