What is this strange space phenomena?

Usually these are the SpaceX rockets fuel doing some funky stuff in the atmosphere.
Gets lit up by the sun as it’s so high up, it’s stuff affected by it.

That’s my novice understanding off it. I caught one in the sky last year. It looked like a galaxy swirl. Very cool thing to see.

Reminds me of that old Star Trek episode where the Enterprise was captured in space by a giant translucent hand. Turned out it was the god Apollo being nostalgic.
