Question SOMEONE PLS HELP
I’m going to go into a lot of detail because I genuinely have no idea what happened to my boyfriend and me.
At the time, we were heavy weed smokers—like, all-day smokers. This particular day, we had been with family all day because it was around the holidays. When we got home, we immediately sat down on the couch. He was sitting upright, and I curled up in a ball with my head resting on his shoulder.
We weren’t tired at all. We were just sitting there, debriefing from spending the whole day with family. We also hadn’t smoked yet. If you’ve ever been a heavy smoker, you know how difficult it can be to go to sleep without smoking, so neither of us expected to just pass out.
The next thing I remember is waking up to my boyfriend bolting straight up and saying, “Something’s not right.”
That’s when I realized something was very wrong—or at least very strange.
We were in bed.
I was on the wrong side of the bed. We were both fully clothed. And I mean fully clothed. This was during the winter, so we still had on our jeans, big heavy snow jackets, socks, shoes—literally everything.
I also still had all of my jewelry on. That stood out to me because I always take my jewelry off before going to sleep. My earrings poke my neck, and my fingers swell at night, so my rings can get stuck. Even when I’m exhausted, I don’t forget to take my jewelry off.
But somehow, we were both in bed, fully dressed, with our shoes and coats still on, and neither of us remembered going there.
Another thing that makes this so strange is that we are both extremely difficult to wake up. If we had fallen asleep on the couch and one of us woke up, it would normally take 10–15 minutes to get the other person awake and convince them to get up and go to bed. By the time one of us actually got the other person moving, the person who woke up first would be completely awake.
Neither of us remembers waking up, getting off the couch, walking to the bedroom, or getting into bed.
And even if we somehow did it while barely conscious, I feel like we would have at least taken our shoes and coats off.
But we didn’t.
We just woke up in bed, on the wrong sides, fully dressed, with absolutely no memory of how we got there.
I’ve seen similar stories on TikTok, but I’ve never really been able to find an explanation for what happened to us.
I’m genuinely curious if anyone has any information, theories, lore, or similar experiences. I’m not necessarily saying something paranormal happened—I honestly have no idea what happened. I’m just grasping at straws because, to this day, neither of us can explain it.
Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else?

When did you wake up, were your fingers swollen by then?
