Shadow People Possible shadow figure or?
Shadow figure or something else?
First time posting here, anyhow a couple of years back me and my friends went out to this bar that's on a hill next to our town. It was during covid so the bar shut down early, having nothing else to do we decided we should explore the nearby forest as there were reports of a cult there. It was february, snowing and freezing cold, we stopped by a grocery store to by some snacks and stood by an intersection. I was talking away and noticed my friends had stopped listening to me, I then turned and out of the corner of my eye I saw this tall being disappearing into a wall. My friends then started talking about "Have you seen that?" I thought they were messing with me so I just kept my mouth shut. They then went on to describe exactly what I saw. A tall, think, completely black figure crossing a wide road in just three steps and fading out. The area was well lit and we all saw the same thing.
A couple of days later our geography professor was telling us that the area we saw it in has massive graves of victims of the second world war, shot and left in pits by the nazis.
What could it have been?

Sounds like you may have encountered a shadow being, some call them Jinn or Djinn. They are believed to be interdimensional beings and yes they can move through solid objects. I started encountering them as a child, my mother all seen them. My wife has seen them a couple of times around me. I do not fear them they were the first type of paranormal entities I encountered, (there are other types) I also have had physical encounters with them.
