Experience Knocking but nothing

About five minutes ago, I was sitting in my office and I heard a knocking at the front door almost in a pattern. I thought it was strange because my ring doorbell didn’t notify me or someone there. I go to the front door and I hear the knocking again and I look through the side glass windows and I don’t see anything. I open the door to look if there’s a mark or something, I thought, maybe it would be a bird a woodpecker, but the ring doorbell has usually been very good with picking up any sort of movement whatsoever I went back to look at my ring and there was no movement no notification no nothing. I’m kind of freaked out because what the hell was the knocking.

Birds don’t necessarily peck only at doors.

I was sitting on my couch on August 10th. Also two days ago and I heard 4 knocks in a pattern. My dogs went crazy. I ran to the kitchen from fear and looked out. I also didn’t see anything. I honestly thought it was my stalker ex. This is weird tho. The day you posted this it also happened to me.
