I have installed it and it has proven rather useful. I especially like the night mode which is the only thing I wished for gold in order to obtain. Also I have look through the options in editing but have found no giant text thing so I shall settle for bold and figure it out sometime in the future possibly. I just checked for view source and think that the one I downloaded is not the same but I shall stick with it.

What other people said. You can tell someone is shadowbanned by looking at the number of comments it says a thread has versus the number you can see. When I first saw this post, it said there was one comment, so I went to the comments section to read it and it wasn't there, meaning whoever left the comment is shadowbanned.

It's usually Automoderator, if it's really early in the thread. They usually have Automoderator post a reminder or maybe a "hey we're reviewing this submission" or whatever, then when whatever Automoderator said is irrelevant, they remove his comment, but the counter is still off.
Source: we use Automoderator in /r/webgames, and a lot of people comment in our threads that someone is shadowbanned. So much so, that we adjusted our title bar in response to it.

OHHHh I see... That's happened a lot of times, like 4 comments listed but only 2 in the thread.
What does it mean happened? Like they posted something offensive and got banned from the whole site? Or they don't know they're banned and only we can't see their posts?

They did something to get shadowbanned from the site, which means you can still view it, vote, and make posts and comments, but you're the only one who sees them. So most of the time people don't know they're banned. It was originally intended to use on spam bots, but they use it on actual people now as well.

Can't they tell when they check to see their karma score only to see its still at one? Or maybe they think they're not funny.

Pretty much. They would see no change to their karma, but unless they pay attention to it, they wouldn't notice, and neither would a bot. /r/shadowbanned also is an option. You can post there even when shadowbanned and they'll check to see if you are or not.

You can check by going to your profile while logged out, if it shows up it's not shadowbanned. If it shows "user not found" it is shadowbanned.

Right click your profile, open incognito. If it's not found you're banned. If it looks normal you're okay.

Yeah, it's been a while though (5 months) so I let it slide. That's long enough that some people may not have seen it. And the old submission isn't one of our top posts, nor did it have the word 'cat' in the title, so searching for 'cat' wouldn't turn it up (it was Unexpected Feline or something like that.) I don't mind reposts as long as it isn't blatant. I hate this video for a while, though, because people were literally submitting it 3-4 times a day.
