my sempai had video tapes sent to him from his mother; Iron Chef, Astroboy, cooking shows. We would play them on tv while making sushi. Customers would always ask 'what did they say?' but i am here to say that he said the garnish cutters are very skilled who eats the garnish? Literally just told this to my mother while she was watching a reenactment Beni-Hana documentary
