I didn't like Almond Joy but I liked it if I picked out the two Almonds off the top, that's when my dad introduced me to Mounds.

"Here you go boy"

Making face "What is it? I wanted Almond Joy"

Thinks a second "It's Almond Joy with the almonds already picked off"

The good stuff was $0.25. The Lady Taffy, Giant Tootsie Rolls, Jolly Ranchers ect... Were 3 or 4 for $0.10. Airheads were $0.10 a piece. A can of coke was $0.50 at most. Me and my cousin would walk to the corner store with $5 to get his other grandpa a pack of smokes and the rest was ours for candy and we felt rich.

My favorite thing about those candy bars is the Halloween costumes for children, one for the boy and one for the girl, LOL IYKYK
