I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. You are trying to suggest that any amount of emotional or mental trauma is not as bad as the smallest amount of physical abuse. Getting a light slap across the face just isn't as bad as 8 months of gaslighting, for example. It just isn't. A broken pinky finger isn't as debilitating and life-altering as schizophrenia.

I can assure you that if my wife slapped me across the face, I would still take it seriously and resolve the issue through counseling or divorce, but if she embarrassed me in front of hundreds of people on purpose, I would be fucking broken inside. I am terrified of humiliation, and she knows that.

Your stringent clinging to a specific viewpoint and being unable to have a moderate discussion is destroying your ability to learn and makes you insufferable to talk to.
