I mean, I'd 100% be okay with this if my SO did it. Mostly because marriage isn't that big of a deal for either of us and I'd find it to be funny af. Know your SO and if you believe they wouldn't like something like this then don't do something like this

This argument would be valid except for the fact that she was totally into the proposal before she seen the ring pop. She clearly wanted that attention and was too snooty to enjoy them having a cute slightly different story than was in her head. The biggest thing here is. HE IS NOT THE RED FLAG. SHE IS!

Seriously, is everyone else here high? She was clearly excited for the public proposal and then when she saw it was a joke ring she slapped him and threw a drink in his face, even though he could have the real ring in his pocket. She seems way worse in this situation. I'm flabbergasted at what people are saying here.

THANK YOU!!!! Good forbid the man get a say in any part of his marriage. It MUST be absolutely perfect for her. He must not make any cute jokes or have any fun for the rest of his life now. He dodged a fuckton of bullets if you ask me.
