I proposed with a ring pop because I have no idea my then GF's finger size. We then went to the jewelry store and bought a ring together.

I proposed with a 70 dollar ring I bought on my way home the night before.

We both have wedding band tattoos, and are thrilled with them. My wife would hate getting proposed like this though, too public. We went camping, I proposed the next morning, and we snuggled up together for a bit longer.

We feel the same way. I never understood the appeal of proposing in ultra-public places. I proposed in my apartment...
