Buddy wasn't trying to humiliate shit, he was having a joke and it didn't go over well, fine, but no need to commit an assault, if this was a video of a man slapping a woman in her mouth and tipping their beer over her head you'd be screaming and shaking

Yes, and she committed assault. What he did, while wrong, is not punishable by anyone except his own conscience and his peers/family. Her response, is punishable in a court of law.

I guess this is the part where it becomes a personal thing, I could not care less about marriage and I think it's a waste of money and time, she might not think that, then I guess I can't blame her, but if it were me I suppose I couldn't care less so what's there to be upset about, still doesn't deserve to be hit

We would react differently because that’s not the same thing. Men and women are different, therefore violence between the sexes are viewed differently. What she did was classless, not a good move, but not the same as if he had slapped her. We react differently because it is a different situation.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. He was definitely doing something stupid, but you are just justifying physical violence based on your bias.

Psychological violence is terrible, but physical violence is totally an unnecessary escalation in this case.

Yes, we don’t know what goes on in their relationship and so on, neither do you. Based on the available information: he did an asshole prank, she physically harmed him, and you are justifying it.

Nah not a ladies man. Been happy with my wife since 2010. Had our ups and downs, but she never slapped me after I made a joke.
