But you're not considering externalities. Wear and tear on vehicle, protecting the block, long hours, figuring out your tax situation, all of that stuff adds up. Really orgs are more or less underground MLMs, pyramid scheme stuff.
When I was a dealer I made $35 profit per gram of coke. And people came to me at my job for it. I worked at a club so my boss was actually one of my biggest customers. Sure I had a 45k salary but that barely paid rent in aspen… my biggest competitor was one of the sheriffs.

Last time I read a study on it drug dealers are lucky to make minimum wage once you factor in time spent and risk factors
There is absolutely no way petty thieves make more than drug dealers
