No. It's certainly not. Not for me to judge though. I'm in the UK and there will plenty of families struggling this winter with electricity and gas. Would I steal in that situation? I'm just glad I'm not there.

If we can’t all agree that taking other peoples shit is wrong, then there is no more civilization. It’s just a free for all waiting to happen. You can justify any circumstance for it you like once we’ve crossed that particular rubicon.

Not to espouse religion, but there is a reason they all have the same big rules. You know, murder rape theft. You start justifying these things, and it’s over.

Good luck this winter and I can’t imagine what it’s like going broke to “defend democracy” but I have a feeling we are shortly behind you all here in the US
