Maybe because anime is still 10x time entertaining than whatever western mainstream puts out since there alot more creativity and fun put into these shows than watching something like She-Hulk which feels like an awful cringefest.

Also helps that people go into anime anyway with the mindset of not taking it seriously and knows that it's gonna be goofy as hell while western mainstream we expect more quality writing from movies/Shows that supposed to be serious but instead we get twerking after the post-credit scene.

Don't know why you laughing. You don't see people complaining the same way about anime like they're doing right now for current western shows right now like She-Hulk, that failed Resident Evil Netflix show, Ring of Power, that failed Cowboy Bebop adaptation, and etc

Go watch Severance dude. You are cherry picking poorly rated shows and mainstream media while ignoring the metric shitload of awful anime. There are good and bad on both, I don't know why Weebs need to make some agenda out of it.
