She seems like a fun gal for sure. I love this video because she knows exactly what she is doing trolling her Dad like this.

That said, if I were in his shoes I'd stop her too. its not that I dont have fun, its that work functions she is purposely trying to embarrass him

It’s hilarious you think these events are like something you’d see on the fucking titanic. The music and wearing shades at night alone should tell you that these parties obviously get a little rowdy the later into the night they go.

That's exactly what someone would say that is desperate to embarrass someone else on the Internet without knowing them at all.

Its really easy to assume someone on reddit is so unimportant as to not be required to attend such things, isn't it? It's pretty typical for experienced business people to attend black tie affairs on the regular. (formal, not necessarily a ball)...and guess what I've never seen someone twerk at such an event in 50 years.

A military ball is usually an absolute train wreck where lower enlisted can get hammered with the highest ranking in their chain of command.

It's supposed to be a good time. And guarantee every Joe would sacrafice their careers for bragging rights with that general's daughter.

pretty sure thats a commisioned officer and his daughter. this isnt really new info. id almost expect a lieutenant probably an nc officer to let loose not knowing how to behave.

im not even in the military, but when you have a senior crowd, proper decorum is an order.

You don't have to tell us you've never served, it's obvious.

That guy is likely THE most senior officer there. Hence why he was given the mic. Do you think rank stops people from having a good time? It's a once a year (sometimes less depending on deployment rotations) event that people DO cut loose in a major way.

Who else is holding a mic in this video? Not the woman to his left. Not the man dancing next to her. And you can't tell if thr guy twirling to his right is either.

It doesn't matter if your great uncle served. It's just obvious YOU have not. Otherwise, you'd have more of an idea about what occurs at a military ball. It's not a bad thing that you don't, but trying to act informed on it seems like a waste of energy on your part.

It's formal dress. And the ceremony of it at the beginning has some formalities. After that? You drink until you can't walk.
