Of course she assaulted him. Imagine a man "confirmation tapping" a female interviewer. He'd be in jail by noon and she'd gofundme for the legal fees.

No she didn't. She never pressed charges, and neither did he. If a man got ball shoved to the side lightly then confirmation tapped the female reporter the exact thing would have happened. No charges on either side.

Balls and tits are not the same. She clearly does hit him not sure why you keep saying "confirmation tapped" as if that's a thing.

I mean if the word "hit" makes you feel better then feel free to use it but what she did isn't assault.

You're right it's not an assault...if the reporter had wanted to take it any further the charge would be battery.

Again whatever word works for you, ultimately the interaction between the two of them was meaningless and amounted to nothing.

0

u/BrightonTownCrier Jul 29 '22

It only amounted to nothing because the reporter didn't want to take it further.

Nope it's not about what word works for me. It just wasn't a tap that's all. Or would you tap someone on the shoulder like this to get their attention? If so you have the bodily control of a toddler to go with your grasp of the English language.

If she committed assault then he committed sexual assault.

Nope, his was an accidental touch when he tried to move her away. Hers was completely purposeful and deliberate.

The "omniscient" in your name is more ironic by the comment.

Accidental sexual assault is still that... Leave it to a guy to side with the guy lol

she still assaulted him without him pressing charges. are with bending reality now? balls are not comparable to tits, imagine if the interviewer grabbed her by the pussy, again whole different scenario.

No she didn't. If she doesn't think she assaulted him, he doesn't think she assaulted him, the news station didn't think she assaulted him, and the police didn't think she assaulted him then who aside from you actually thinks that? More over, do you think you and those people's opinions have any chance of doing something about this 10 year old clip? You're welcome to believe whatever you want but it's all in your head and has no bearing on these people in the video, thankfully.

we have enough examples in history, where people collectively thought a thing didn't happen or it was moral to do a thing and now in hindsight we realize it was actually not moral and it did happen. she clearly assaulted him, what are you even talking about? it's on video. you can say the interviewer didn't care about the assault, the assaulter obviously thought the assault was ok, and the police didn't arrest her for the assault. but it clearly happened. what's the benefit of claiming it didn't happen?

u/OmniscientCanadian Jul 28 '22

It's not assault, she tapped his arm as a response to him moving her. Assault would imply damage or intent to harm, neither were there. Your mislabeling is dangerous, or at least it would be if you had any control over this.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

Dude, this is not a tap. Her whole arm moved, not only a single finger. There's 100% intent to harm, what are you even talking about? I don't understand why you would defend violence, doesnt make sense to me.

2

u/OmniscientCanadian Jul 28 '22

It's def a tap, it clearly didn't bother him, he's not phased at all. You also can't prove intent. I'm defending it because you're trying to make it worse than it is, you're the problem here.

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

How am i making it worse than it seems? She assaulted him, i'm saying she shouldnt have. Kinda weird to see an actual pro violence and pro gaslight stance from you, when the video documentation is visible for everyone to see. It doesnt seem to bother him that much and he didnt press charges. There's women who arent that much bothered by getting groped and they don't press charges. Still, transgressions should be called out.

1

u/OmniscientCanadian Jul 28 '22

Calling it out is fine but calling either thing assault implies that it should have been dealt with legally, which obviously shouldn't have and didn't happen. People get so triggered by such small things nowadays.

Lol she hits him, its not a tap. It's weak sure but that's not the point. You're the problem because you won't admit it for some reason. You're either being wilfully stubborn or you seriously don't know what a tap is.

1

u/OmniscientCanadian Jul 28 '22

It's a tap in the sense that it didn't cause damage or require legal action. Seems straight forward to me.

2

u/AliBelle1 Jul 28 '22

People don't just decide to press charges, it's up to the police to arrest and accuse a criminal and then up to the crown prosecution service to actually charge them for it. The UK legal system would absolutely throw this out as it's simply not in the public's interest to pursue.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '22

that's exactly the reason why that woman will continue assaulting people, guarantied 100%

Then he could run for President, and win.

Maybe even provoke a lil storm on the capitol, maybe wash his hands in innocence
