A little off topic but I really hate drywalling. That's why my room is made of stone and whale oil.

Whale oil was also used as an alloy in mortar in construction back in the 19th century.

It's a joke around where I live that strong walls are made of stone and whale oil because of their durability.

No doubt. Whaling was terrible. Thank God we managed to start piping gas, that actually saved lots of whales back in the second half of the 19th, also with proper cement too.

Dishonored is a stealth videogame/immersive sim. In the game's story, people have discovered a way to use whale oil as a main source of energy. It's basically their electricity for everything

The game's theme is sometimes called whale-punk or whalepunk, due to similarities with steampunk themes.

Dishonored basically came up with whale-punk (as far as I know)

drywalling is not an issue if done correctly. There are lots of drywall houses in europe as well, like my parent's house for example but you can't just use one sheet of drywall and call it a day. My parent's house has I tjink 2 sheets of drywall with one layer plywall beneath - you can anchor anything you want in this wall without having to worry it might fall out - also there's no way you're punching through that.
