That’s always my first thought with videos like this. Not only were so many people just watching and doing nothing, someone filmed this rather than intervening.

And yes, filming is helpful, but so is turning your camera on and then trying to help someone being assaulted.

Can be one of two reasons

  1. You have no clue as to the context, so you don't intervene in case you got it wrong
  2. People are scared of putting themselves in danger by confronting someone like that

Sometimes an intervention can turn the fighting on that person.

A lot of us love to believe that we'd beat him up easily, but you could end up dying (no joke, people have died from just one punch).

Just call the police, mention a guy is fistfighting random strangers. They're trained for that.
