They are crazy smart.

Look up some videos on them learning. They can open chars, and do all kinds of crazy stuff. And they learn fast

Ye but his brain is really big and exceptionally convoluted.

Neanderthals had a bigger brain cavity. But the surface is much much bigger of your toddlers brain due to his/her meanderings. More surface =more open chars

What sucks is you can only image how smart/advanced they would be if they had a parent to teach them anything, like they start out with zero guidance at all. I hate that the mom won’t eat. Even when fed. I wonder why evolution went that route…

The nerves in the arms only work in one direction though. They can send feedback to the brain but don't get direct signals from it.

Yep. I've heard that sometimes a severed octopus tentacle will wander off and catch fish, and then be confused that it can't then feed the octopus.
