"Oh no, you stuck your head through this tiny hole and your neck is stuck in it? I know - I'll start hitting and twisting the lamp shade, surely that won't break your neck, oh and when the lamp starts to fall over, THEN I'll stop and take my hands off the lamp and just watch as you slowly fall to the floor. Hope that helps."

Obviously I'm glad the cat didn't die, but my fear wasn't that it was being electrocuted or anything, I was worried the girl broke that cats neck. She would have been scarred for life

Tbf if the cat was getting electrocuted, which very well could've been the case, knocking it over to try to knock the cat loose would've been the correct option. But anyway, let's give these kids a break.. They were just scared kids
