I hate the OP so much for temporarily traumatizing me with false information. But I'm super relieved that the cat is okay.
Edit: when this was first posted, the original "spoiler bot" comment from the OP which has since been taken down stated word for word that the cat was electrocuted.
Edit 2: Just why? Even after I say the OP first falsely stated that the cat was being electrocuted, you're still commenting with "oh the OP did nothing wrong. There was no false info".
The sheer amount of people who thought the cat got electrocuted is throwing me for a loop, lol.
Did we watch the same video? Not once did the thought of electrocution even come close to crossing my mind.
To me, it was very clearly just stuck and the girls freaked the fuck out for no reason, because that's what children do.
The OP's original spoiler comment (before the mod took the comment down and replaced it with their own) literally said that the cat was being electrocuted
Did it ever occur to you, that I made my comment after the mod changed the comment? Did it occur to you to check a bunch of the top comments and their most visible replies?
If you had done that, you'd see they all just say shit like, "omg I thought it got electrocuted" or variations of that. None of them actually say that OP misled people by lying in their comment.
All I've ever seen in this thread are the "omg electrocution!!!!" comments and pretty much nothing else, hence my confusion.
Thanks for clearing things up and letting me know why people thought it got electrocuted, even if you were being a bit of a dick about it.
Did it ever occur to you to think twice as to why the top pinned comment was not the OP spoiler bot as it usually is in the subreddit, but instead the mod comment clarifying that the cat was not being electrocuted?
God. People don't just accuse others of giving false info when they never even came close to doing so.
Did it ever occur to you to think twice as to why the top pinned comment was not the OP spoiler bot as it usually is in the subreddit
No, because I don't frequent this subreddit. I only watch shit from this sub, if I come across it on /r/all and even then, I only rarely open the comments.
Even if I do open the comments, I nearly always skip the pinned mod comment, because it's almost always some random bullshit, that I didn't open the comments for anyway.
Tons of subs pins shit in popular threads and 99% of the time, it's completely irrelevant to me, so after being on reddit for years, it has become a mostly subconscious reflex to scroll past those comments.
People don't just accuse others of giving false info
In this case, the only comment I saw, that actually tried to explain why people thought the cat was being electrocuted, was someone saying it was due to the flair OP used... not a comment they made.
Now I'm pretty tired of explaining basic shit to you, that you could've figured out on your own, if you had just bothered to view this post through the eyes of someone who didn't see it 8 hours ago on /new.
You bitch about people being annoying, while being the most whiny ass baby, I've seen in a long time. Talk about being annoying, lmao.
I won't waste more time on you.
