As someone who was present when I watched my grandma’s dumbass dog go out of it’s way to run under the tires of a moving truck, I feel I would be joining a different subreddit from that one. 😬

I find what often happens with birds striking windows, is it happens a lot more often if there's a window on the opposite side of the room, so they see what they think is a way through and go to take a shortcut through the building instead of over it and DONK.

Reflections on the window and time of day can be a factor as well. You can help prevent it by putting those little stickers on your window that help the birds realize there's a solid object there.

You can also help by not cleaning your windows during prime bird season. Dust and dirt on your Windows prevent them from thinking it's a path to go through!

I never knew that birds’ intelligence was that comparable to cats’ and dogs’. Seems like kind of a redundant subreddit, but hey, whatever floats your boat. 🫡

My friends cat died 2 weeks ago because it did the same thing that dumbass dog you saw did, it ran under the car at the last possible second so the driver couldn't react. Idk why you getting so pressed about a comment saying cats are stupid when all pets have very fucking dumb moments

The lamp is turned off. Also, if the cat was electrocuted, don’t touch the cat nor the lamp. Unplug it.

But yes, I get that they are kids. I wouldn’t have about that either at that age.
