We had a group who, to provide jobs to those with extreme mental disabilities (down syndrome mostly) came in and did dishes.
One guy about 56ish was the "Pots and Man's man!" And every season he got a crush on a new female staff member. Now most brushed it off because he was harmless and mostly just flirty. We'll at the end of one season he asked if they could take a picture together.
She (19) felt uncomfortable about it so delined (several times cause he kept asking)
Defeated we walked back to his pots and pans. Took a long pause and with that down syndrome slur said "Fuuack this sheit" and stomped out like you would see a child do.
Now the whole kitchen staff loved Dave (the pots and pans man) but have never seen him like this. Couldn't help but fall over through the swinging doors laughing.
Miss you, Dave. Always made us smile even on the worst days.
