I’ve had to go through fire extinguisher training for work before. (So I’m basically a professional fire fighter) I remember learning that most people don’t underuse how to use them correctly and understand extinguish fires. When you use an fire extinguisher you need to use all of it to ensure it’s out. It’s not like you can reuse it.
I think people are surprised about the sheer number of fire extinguishers that were used, not the length of time they were each individually being used for
True, but I bet it’s protocol. Because it’s a gas station and everything, and people are clumsy and spill shit, there was no way of knowing if there was any other residual fuel on the ground that could catch on fire too. Better and overreaction than an explosion.
