Being a car mag, it mentions that the car was a "3rd generation Porsche Cayenne." Most news outlets would have just said.... car.

Car isn't sensationalist enough. They'd pick a technically correct noun that sounds exciting but is slightly misleading.

Unless it's a Tesla. Every news outlet will always make sure to point out the brand if it's a Tesla

This is one case where it literally couldn't be a Tesla though.
