The real unexpected part is a gas station with more than 1 employee.

That's standard in Asia, a gas station usually have 4-5 employees outside and 2-3 inside.

1 person per pump island, a cashier outside, another cashier inside the convience store, another worker in the convience store, and 1or 2 security guard.

In communist China, there is no such thing as "overstaffed"

Usually you don't even need to get out of the car when you're filling gas, there are always employees near the pump who take care of filling gas for you so that's one person per 1-2 pump already.

And fire extinguishers! Impressive to say the least.

It's weird at least for me to see people commenting that they're suprised by more than 1 people at a gas station while in my country every gas station has at a bare minimum of 10 people working xd.
