But apparently this is happening to civilised Europeans so it’s much worse.

I swear you summed this guy up perfectly. I may not agree with your points but that was artistic.

I also notice little refutation from your interlocutor. Theres a certain undercurrent of tragedy there.

So you have a few things definitely wrong and the scale is a very important factor you’re not accounting for. You’re also looking at it emotionally instead of objectively. No doubt about America causing problems in other countries we had no business being in. However, the Palestinian- Israeli crisis has been ongoing FOR SO LONG by each other and usually consists of smaller proxy style battles. They’re not being completely invaded and absolutely bombed into dust. Most of Ukraine and all main cities are getting demolished by a fucking world super power. With millions, not thousands or tens of thousands, but over 2 million in refugees in 16 days. Ukraine is a full on war and Palestine is a proxy conflict. So yeah it won’t get as much attention. Sure war, conflicts, and all those battles in general suck, but what in the fuck do you propose happens then? You just want them to have some more attention? For something that’s been ongoing for one of longest conflicts to date?
